Making choices, why is that so damned difficult!

Imagine waking up in the morning and making your first choices: what do I want to drink? Coffee, tea, water or juice? What do I want to eat? What will I do first, exercise or have breakfast? What clothes will I wear today?

And then we have only had the morning. Go through your whole day and week like that. We stand all day for choices... You understand: this creates CHOICE STRESS!

Why is it that we have more and more choices and often avoid them? Because actually, we know that if we make those choices, it will does not even matter What choice we make. That actually everything is always right. After all, you learn from it or you are super happy with your choice.

Now that we know this, let's go back to why we find making choices so difficult and what impact That has an impact on our mental and physical condition.

Doing things half-heartedly

Making choices means somewhere commitment and say NO to everything else. Difficult, in a world where we are afraid of missing out on anything (Fear Of Missing Out, FOMO).

As a result, we do a lot of things half-heartedly, in order to do a little bit of everything. But doing everything by halves also means that we can never fully enjoy anything. Or never really finish things and therefore never get full satisfaction from what we do. This makes us mentally and physically exhausted.

How to learn I how to deal with this? Throughout learn to make decisive choices. But how do you do that? I learn to make choices based on my intuition and not by 'over-analysing'. By not being afraid to make 'mistakes' and by keeping in mind that you learn something with every choice you make and that you enjoy every moment of it.

How do you make sustainable choices?

So try it out for three days. Start with the little things, like: what do I want to eat? Or when you are in the supermarket: which peanut butter do I want? What clothes do I want to wear today?

Make decisive choices and also force yourself to make them quickly, without being overly analytical kick in. Then make your decisions bigger and look at the choices you can (and must) make at work, for example. Or in your private environment, for example in your relationship or in friendships.

You will learn the power of making choices and even enjoy every moment of the day. make conscious choices. Also because you will notice that your energy goes up and your physical complaints decrease. I challenge you!
